Our 3 hour Shell Island cruise is family friendly with the exception of Friday and Saturday afternoon cruises on the Big Kahuna which are reserved for 18 and older.
Yes! We do card everyone that is drinking. So make sure you have a valid ID!
For starters, Guns, knives or any other kind of weapon. It is a Tiki boat after all. Secondly, illegal substances, ie drugs without prescriptions or any other narcotics that is controlled/illegal.
The Big Kahuna seats up to 30. The tiki huts seat up to 6.

The Big Kahuna can go anywhere and fast if necessary. The tiki huts travel at an enjoyable tiki slow.
Please know that our captains make the call for a weather cancellation and you will be notified by email at least 90 minutes prior to the trip and given an opportunity to rebook or request a refund. The tiki hut Lit on the Lagoon has a minimum of four passengers to make. The Big Kahuna requires a minimum of seven seats booked for any trip to make.
YES WE STILL HAVE FUN IN THE RAIN! We do operate in the rain as the tiki boats have a substantial thatch roof. However, the captain can decide at anytime to cancel due to conditions (typically high winds or thunder storms).
Our Captains, as well as the mate on the Big Kahuna, do work for tips, so it is customary and appreciated. We suggest a 20% gratuity (per seat or charter) based on the service you get. They are very experienced, knowledgeable, and your safety is paramount! Given what we are about, we searched high and low for the most well-rounded, charming, and professional Captains in town.
1.5HR Sunset and Lagoon Cruises that will cruise the Grand Lagoon, at the Captain’s discretion. The 3HR Trip will cruise around before heading out to a location based on the captain’s discretion (Sandy Point, Shell Island, and other beach/sandbar locations depending on current, winds, and marine traffic) where you ll get an opportunity to swim, float, snorkel and cool off.

We have a variety of music family friendly genres to choose from on the Big Kahuna.
We provide an ice filled cooler, water bottles, cups/shot glasses, bottle openers and bottled water. For food and alcohol, feel free to bring your own or you can order some from any restaurant on the water.
The Big Kahuna has a full size restroom.
Pet dogs are allowed on private charters on the tiki huts only. Dogs are not allowed on The Big Kahuna.

Guests must arrive fifteen minutes before departure and must be checked in by departure time. We cannot hold our departure due to late arrivals. Private charters can be held for up to twenty minutes.
